With the deed to the House of the Castle now held by the Sabugal Municipality, carried yesterday under deliberation of the City Hall meeting of May 27th, the necessary step was given for the implementation of the “Jewish History House of the Sabugal Frontier Lands”, intervention funded by the Jewish Quarters Network of Portugal.

This way, the works of convertion to museum of the House of the Castle will assert this space as a testament to the Jewish presence in the County.

The City Hall believes this is the location and project to be assets and through them add to the tourist offer as well safeguard the memory of the space.
