Accommodation features:

The Alchaiat is a family home, set in a rural environment, with an architecture that combines rustic and contemporary. Here, you can enjoy serenity and comfort for a well-deserved rest. We intend to offer, to those who seek us, a contact with the rich heritage of the village and the people, providing a return to the origins. The etymological interpretation of the toponym “Alfaiates” derived from the Arabic al-haet meaning “the wall”. These Arabic onomastics of the place, quickly lost its original meaning, confusing itself with the resoundingly close term of al-Hayat that means “the tailor”. Until 1296 (Treaty of Alcanizes) it was in possession of the Leon crown and was called Castillo de La Luna, east castle. It was built by D. Afonso X of Leon, in 1230, as well as the rest of the village that was destroyed and abandoned. Nowadays, Alfaiates is still a superb place, of brave people and both natural and architectural abundance, the marks left by time are at every corner bend.
