MUNICIPALITY JOINS THE EARTH HOUR INITIATIVE
The Sabugal Municiapality joins this saturday, March 19th, the initiative of the global organization WWF – Earth Hour, showing its support in the sensibilization for the problems of global warming.
Between 8.30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m., the lights of the Council Chambers building and of four Castles (Alfaiates, Sabugal, Sortelha and Vilar Maior) will be switched off. (more…)
We invite all cityzens to join the Earth Hour, switching off the lights of their homes, for sixty minutes, in the indicated schedule.
The Earth Hour is a WWF initiative that started in 2007 in Sidney, Australia, when 2,2 million people and more than 2 thousand companies switched off their lights for a hour as a stand against climate changes.
