On April 7, at 5:00 p.m., the Mother Church of Vilar Maior will host the Lent concert ‘Meditation for a Time of Penance’, by the São Tomás de Aquino Ensemble.
The repertoire, promoting a symbiosis between the public and the musicians, will cover not only the essential works of the history of Western sacred music but also the music of national and international liturgical service.
Resident in the Church of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Ensemble St. Thomas Aquinas defines itself as a group of a variable composition formed by young professional musicians.
This concert is a joint organization of the Municipality of Sabugal and the Pastoral Unit of the Côa Plateau.
